Farm Food showcases eclectic Egyptian produce at Gulf Food 2016
· Company’s exports to the UAE witnessed a 25% growth over the past 3 years

February 20, 2016 – Dubai, UAE: Farm Food for Food Industries, a private family-owned shareholding company based in Cairo, Egypt that specializes in quality frozen fruits and vegetables, will be showcasing at Gulf Food 2016.
The company’s facility has become fully operational in 2014 and it plans on distributing more products in Egypt, the GCC and beyond. The company reported achieving a 25% growth over the past 3 years with total exports to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries totalling 2000MT last year.
On the company’s participation, Maher Alshorafa, President and Chairman of Farm Food said: “Gulf Food offers the right platform for companies specialized in the food industry from across the world to connect and establish robust business relationships. We have been participating at Gulf Food for the past 7 years as visitors and yet it has proven essential for our company’s development in the UAE and the region. We consider it the region’s flagship event.”
The company is also planning to launch a new an unknown product with distinctive packaging that will only be disclosed at the booth. “It is a unique product to the region that only a few might know and understand its significance,” said Mohammed Alshorafa, CEO of Farm Food. “It will cater for a demand that hasn’t been met by most players in the market.”
This is Farm Food’s first participation at Gulf Food and can be found at Egyptian Pavilion in Zaabeel Hall.
